My Testimony:

My name is Blake Pawluk, I'm 18 years old, and I recently accepted a full-time position in ministry alongside MAPS Global, and will be moving overseas to Eurasia to preach the gospel for the next 2 years.

I want to share my journey with you

I grew up in a Christian household. When I was around 12 years old, I started hanging around the wrong crowd and quickly was consumed by the things of this world. When I was 14 my family tragically lost a loved one in a shooting. This led me to grow depressed, and I started to numb the pain with any substance I could.

After two years living in depression, and after attempting suicide, I felt as if I had nothing left. It was at this moment, at my lowest, where the LORD used a group of my friends, to invite me to their church — and the LORD graciously revealed himself to me. It was then, January 10th, 2021, that I gave my life to Christ.

The LORD started to grip my heart for the unreached nations. In the Fall of 2021 I went to an event, hosted by MAPS Global. It was at this event that the LORD marked my heart for the nations, and clarified it for me, I was to be sent to preach the good news.

Months later, in February 2022, at just 17, I joined MAPS’ ten-month long Frontier Missions School. This school exists to prepare and send missionaries to the 10/40 window of the Middle East. I spent 7 months taking seminary-level classes, and 3 months overseas.

Upon returning to the states, and my graduation of the school, the LORD begun to speak to me about my next assignment. The LORD opened a door for me to spend the next two years of my life, working with MAPS Global, as a full-time missionary.

That leads me to where I am today. I am currently searching for partners to help launch me into this next assignment.
